Week of 5/18 - 5/22:  There's a ck12 assignment about waves this week.  Just practices and no quiz this time.  I made a WAVES PLAYLIST on YouTube with the stuff we've seen.  Also, here's the PowerPoint of Monday & Wednesday's presentations.

Week of 5/4 - 5/8:  This week is a catch-up week:  no NEW assignments for science.  The mechanical advantage and efficiency concepts from Monday's zoom are here (PowerPoint), but they appear on last week's ck12.

Week of 5/4 - 5/8:  This week is much like last week:  a ck12 assignment with 6 practices and a quiz, due Friday.  The topic this week is Work, Energy, and a little about machines.  Monday's live session will focus on work and energy (links:  video 1, video 2, video 3, PowerPoint.), while Wednesday's will be about machines.

Week of 4/27 - 5/1:  There is an assignment on ck12 about energy this week.  It includes BOTH practices and a quiz this time.  Here are some links to things you saw in Zoom Monday that might help:  Potential & Kinetic Energy (video), and Roller coaster Problems (PowerPoint)  MATERIALS FROM WEDNESDAY ZOOM:  PowerPoint, elastic potential energy video.

Week of 4/20 - 4/24:  I have posted a ck12 assignment that includes a quiz for this week.  Please go there and complete it by Friday, 4/24.  You have three attempts.  Good luck!

Text-Based Packet:

For each day there is a reading assignment from your textbook, Glencoe Physical Science, and a few related worksheets to complete.

Worksheets for Tomasino's Packet

When complete, take a pic of workbook pages 17, 20, 26, 29, and 32, then upload them HERE.

Ck12.org Assignment:

I recently posted an assignment on ck12.org that is due 4/10.  It includes 8 concepts.  The reading and practice for each concept should take 15-30 minutes to complete, for a total of 2-4 hours of academic work.   The results of your practice on ck12 concepts are what I can see and will use to evaluate your learning.  The reading (and other resources, especially the PLIX) are VERY HIGHLY ENCOURAGED, but I can't evaluate that.
